Lake Segara Anak trekking is the main destination of this trekking program. The trek is a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience. 3-day, 2-night trek to the most popular destination on Mount Rinjani.

On this trek, packages will visit the beautiful Lake Segara Anak, and enjoy the hot springs. In this climbing package, we would like to invite you to visit and see beautiful Segara Anak Lake from all directions.

The Lake Segara Anak trekking program starts in Sembalun village and ends in Senaru village. Recommended for experienced hikers or those able to walk an average of 6 hours per day.

Lake Segara Anak Trekking itinerary:

Day 1: Lunch and dinner at the mountain

  1. Wake up at 6:00 to get your breakfast
  2. At 07.00 Am, drive to Sembalun village for 45-60 minutes
  3. Registration for the trip at Rinjani Information Center
  4. Start trekking at 08.00 am to get Pos 1 (1300m) from Sembalun village, about 2 hour’s walk.
  5. From Pos 1 to Pos 2, take 40-minute walk, take a rest to have your lunch
  6. To get to Crater Rim Sembalun (2639m) from Pos 2 will take 3 hours. It includes a prolonged steep climb.
  7. Prepare our trekking tent at Crater Rim Sembalun and enjoy the sunset and mountain dinner.

Day 2: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at the Mountain.

  1. Have your breakfast with a beautiful view of Segara Anak at 07.00 AM.
  2. At 08.00 AM descend to Segara Anak Lake for 3 hours.
  3. We stop at the side of the lake to rest.
  4. Swimming in the lake or hot spring water is a great way to enjoy the lake. We can enjoy the view of the lake and swim in it.
  5. Our porter will prepare lunch for us.
  6. Leave the lake and go up to Senaru crater rim (2641m) for 3 hour’s walk.
  7. Overnight at Senaru crater rim with the best spectacular view of Segara Anak
  8. Enjoy an incredible sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and the smoke from the new volcano on the lake’s edge.

Activities on day 3: Breakfast and Lunch at the mountain.

After breakfast and a beautiful sunrise, we will leave Mount Rinjani and descend to Senaru village through the rainforest. Sometimes, we can see black monkeys. It takes 5 hours, and we will have lunch along the way.

 Arrive at Senaru village (601 m) around 3:00 p.m. After you are ready, transfer to your next destination.
