Jul et son équipe sont formidables. Jnai décidé de ne pas faire le trek au mont Rinjani au dernier moment. Jul a pris les choses en main et m’a organisé un lever de soleil idéal. Départ très tôt mais ça en valait la peine. Je me suis promenée dans la région de Sembalun, petit déjeuner dans les champs de fraises. J’ai planté de la cive avec les locaux. Puis séance photo au sommet du pic, et retour à l’hôtel. Il m’a même organisé un petit tour pour aller voir le coucher de soleil. Départ pour le port demain, organisé. Merci pour tout ! Best organised trekking trip ever..The team were exceptional and the climb and scenery are stunning.  Jul, Lintang, Acip and Iwan did a great job..The food was amazing and the camping equipment great quality.

Well done Senaru Trekking. I look forward to coming back and doing another tour.

Together with a guide and 2 porters we  started in Sembalu. The guide ( Lau) and the porters ( Adi and Walu) were the best, taking much care of us with delicious meals, drinks and snacks all the way. It took aprox. 7 hours (5 hours hike and 2 hours breaks) to reach the base camp.
We had the chance to witness the sunset from this magical place.
With no light pollution, we could see the starts, planets and Milky Way, like it's not possible to see in many other places. It felt out of a fairytale. The agency took care of everything, transportation before and after the hike, accommodation before the hike.

Nous avons vécu une aventure exceptionnelle au Mont Rinjani avec Senaru Trekking. Nous étions un groupe de 4, deux couples venus de Marseille, et nous avons été accompagnés du début à la fin par une équipe formidable.

Le trek de 2 jours et 1 nuit est exigeant, mais les paysages sont absolument incroyables et valent largement tous les efforts. Entre la traversée de la jungle, les magnifiques panoramas sur le volcan, le coucher de soleil depuis le camp et le lever du soleil au sommet, nous en avons pris plein les yeux !

Un énorme merci à notre guide et nos porteurs, qui ont été incroyablement courageux, attentionnés et toujours là pour nous encourager dans les moments les plus difficiles. Malgré des conditions parfois éprouvantes, ils ont gardé le sourire et une énergie incroyable.

Nous avons également été bluffés par l’organisation : le camp était installé avant notre arrivée, les repas étaient préparés directement sur place et étaient copieux, variés et vraiment délicieux. Tout était parfaitement organisé et nous n’avons manqué de rien.

Au-delà du trek sportif, nous retenons surtout une très belle aventure humaine. Nous avons partagé énormément de bons moments avec toute l’équipe et nous garderons un excellent souvenir de cette expérience.

Exceptional experience from start to finish. Everything was very well organized, from arranging our transport and accommodation the day before the hike to dropping us off at our next destination on the final day.

Our guides and porters went above and beyond to take care of us throughout the entire trek. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and friendly, making the whole experience much easier and more enjoyable.

Our 2D1N Mount Rinjani crater rim trek was one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia.

I recommend Ari. Ari was an amazing/interesting/funny guide. Thanks for everything. And same for our porters, they were so friendly and cooked like chefs !

Super trek avec Senaru Trekking!!
J’ai réservé mon trek au dernier moment, Jul est un des seuls à m’avoir proposé le trek que je voulais à un prix plus que correct. Tout a été super bien organisé, ils m’ont récupéré à mon hôtel à Gerupuk jusqu’à Senaru. Ensuite petit brief de Jul avant de nous déposer à l’hôtel. Les chambres étaient très bien le lit très confortable le petit déjeuner très bien également. Ensuite le trek a été incroyable. Tout est super bien organisé, vous ne manquerez jamais de nourriture d’eau ou de confort. Les guides et les porteurs sont d’une extrême bienveillance et gentillesse. La nourriture était très bonne et en très grande quantité, vous aurez même même le droit à une table et des chaises (ce qui n’est pas le cas partout), une tente un matelas un duvet et même un oreiller. Nous étiez un groupe de 5 avec deux guides.

Amazing experience with Senaru Trekking! We spontaneously booked a 2-day, 1-night trek from Senaru to the Crater Rim for four people, and everything worked perfectly. Our guide Surya was incredibly kind, attentive and adapted to our pace. He also took amazing photos of us at sunset! The porters did a great job setting up our tent and preparing delicious food. Disclaimer for 3D2N: please know this not just a challenging trek, but can also be a dangerous trek. Have the right footwear, gear, and take your time!

Review: My guide Ari was amazing and made sure I felt safe and supported throughout the whole trek. I was injured early on the second day which made the rest of the hike more mentally and physically challenging for me but Ari stayed with me the entire time and made sure I was doing okay. I seriously can't thank him enough.

The porters are the heros of Rinjani and deserve so much praise for the hard work they do every day. Not only did they carry all of our camping equipment, water, food, etc up and down the same challenging trail as us, but they also prepared delicious meals and fresh warm beverages for us 3 times a day. The whole trip wouldn't be possible without them. If you do this hike, tip your porters at the end, they deserve it!

Senaru Trekking is a reliable company and makes the transportation to and from Senaru very easy. The hotel they have you stay at the night before is also really nice and comfortable.

Did the 2day/1night trek from Senaru to the Senaru crater rim and back.
This Route is very pleasant as 75% is in the jungle and comfortably cool. The views from the Rim are spectacular.
The hired equipment (warm jacket and trekking poles) was exactly as ordered and in very good quality. The rest of the equipment was all provided by the Senaura trekkers.
We only needed to bring light trekking shoes , T shirt, walking shirt and a long trousers for the evning on the mountain. A special highlight was our guide Lintang, who has 20 years of mountain experience, speaks great English, and perfectly adjusted to our pace. On top of that, the food was delicious! We received a warm welcome and had a great time with the team.
It is fantastic that this agency supports keeping the mountain clean. During the descent, our guide collected litter left behind by others and carried it off the mountain. However, the real heroes are the porters! They carry up to 35 kg of equipment, food, and drinking water up the mountain for us guests. Please don't be stingy with tipping them!
