Lombok Island from Bali
There are two primary ways to get Lombok Island: by air and by sea. You can choose to defend on your budget, time, and where you are traveling from.
Lombok is famous for its white sand beaches, epic surfing spots, and stunning landscape.
Getting to Lombok by Air.
Flying is the fastest and most convenient option.
- Lombok International Airport is the name of the Lombok Airport located in the center of Lombok Island. The island has only one airport.
- Flight from Bali ( DPS ). There are multiple daily direct flights from Bali to Lombok. The flight is short, typically lasting only 30-40 minutes.
- International flight. Most International flights from Malaysia and Singapore.
- Getting to your destination from the airport. Once you arrive, you can take a taxi.
Getting to Lombok by Sea.
Traveling by sea is a more budget-friendly option and offers a different kind of experience.
- Fast boat. This is a popular choice for tourists from Bali. Fast boats depart from various harbors in Bali ( Padang Bai, Serangan, and Sanur ) and arrive at different ports in Lombok ( Senggigi and Bangsal ).
- Public Ferry. This is the cheapest and slowest option, often used by locals and for transporting vehicles.

- Lombok Airport to Senaru Village is approximately 4 hours by private Car
- Lembar to Senaru village, approximately 2,5 hours by private car
- Mataram/ Senggigi to Senaru village, approximately 2 hours by private car
- Teluk Kode/ Bangsal Harbor to Senaru village is approximately an hour and 25 minutes by private car
- Gilis to Bangsal harbor is approximately 30 minutes by public boat.
