- Lombok Airport to Senaru Village is approximately 4 hours by private Car
- Lembar to Senaru village, approximately 2,5 hours by private car
- Mataram/ Senggigi to Senaru village, approximately 2 hours by private car
- Teluk Kode/ Bangsal Harbor to Senaru village is approximately an hour and 25 minutes by private car
- Gilis to Bangsal harbor is approximately 30 minutes by public boat.
Summit Rinjani trekking itinerary:
Sembalun village – Crater Rim Sembalun ( Day 01 )
- Wake up at 6:00 to get your breakfast
- At 07.00 AM, drive to Sembalun village for 45-60 minutes
- Registration for the trip at Rinjani Information Center
- Start trekking at 08.00 am to get Pos 1 (1300m) from Sembalun village, about a 2-hour walk.
- From Pos 1 to Pos 2, take a 40-minute walk, take a rest, and have your lunch
- To get to Crater Rim Sembalun (2,639m) from Pos 2 will take 3 hours. It includes a prolonged steep climb.
- Prepare our trekking tent at Crater Rim Sembalun and enjoy the sunset and mountain dinner.
Crater Rim Sembalun – Summit Rinjani – Lake Segara Anak ( Day 02 )
- We wake up at 2:30 a.m. and have a light breakfast.
- We leave the camp at 03:00 a.m. and head to Rinjani Summit (3,726 m). The walking time is approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes.
- The first stage is a moderate climb for 120 minutes. The second stage is an easy and long trek. The final stage of the climb is very steep and difficult. (There are many loose stones, and you will slip one step back as you take two steps forward).
- At 6:00 a.m., we will be at the summit (3,726 m). Enjoy a beautiful sunrise and a panoramic view of Lombok, Bali, and Sumbawa.
- Descend into the crater rim Sembalun within 2 hours and have breakfast
- We will continue to descend to Segara Anak Lake for 3 hours.
- We stop at the side of the lake to rest. Here, we can enjoy the view of the lake and swim.
- Enjoy hot spring water for natural healing
- Overnight on the lakeside. Lunch and dinner at the lake.
Segara Anak – Crater Rim Senaru ( Day 03 )
- Breakfast with an amazing view of Segara Anak Lake
- You have time to enjoy the lake.
- Lunch at the lake. After everyone is ready, we will climb to the other side of the mountain.
- Leave the lake and climb to the Senaru crater rim (2,641m), which takes about 3 hours.
- Overnight at Senaru crater rim with the best spectacular view of Segara Anak
- Enjoy an incredible sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and the smoke from the new volcano on the lake’s edge.
Breakfast and lunch at the mountain ( Day 04 )
- Breakfast with a beautiful sunrise
- Leave Mount Rinjani and descend to Senaru village through the rain forest.
- Lunch between Pos 2 ( 5 hours to Senaru village )
- Arrive at Senaru village around 3.00 PM (601 m)
- Transfer to your next destination.
